Abstract:

Apartheid in South Africa constitutes a troublesome policy for the world politics and for the South African government. In order to consider possibilities of change it is necessary to understand the factors which have produced this policy of separation of the races. The report examines those factors constituting the genesis and structure of Afrikaner nationalism. An historical, sociological, and psychological overview is presented, together with some of the considerations implied for U.S. national policy and U.S. security. Modified author abstract
