Abstract:
The characteristics and methods of factor analysis, as well as the algorithm and program of the principal components method for the Promin digital computer system are described. The themetical possibility of applying factor analysis in neurophysiology is shown in a an investigation of the structure of a single electrophysiological process on the basis of electrocorticographic dynamic spectra calculations, and b a comparison and classification of poststimulation histographs of the induced activity of projection cortical neurons in response to a conditioned stimulus.
