The report describes the progress made in the development of a physiological monitoring system for use in hyperbaric research. The system, designed around a mini-computer configuration, is able to monitor up to 16 channels of analog data and 5 channels of data from radioisotope detectors. Both real-time and non real-time data analysis is included as part of the operational system. During the period covered by the report the system was used to monitor physiological response of divers subject to various hyperbaric environments and workloads test the effectiveness of electronically heated suits and monitor-inert gas uptake and distribution in anaesthetized dogs under hyperbaric conditions.
