Particles can diffuse across the magnetic field lines i.e., radial diffusion or along field lines i.e., pitch-angle diffusion. Very few experimental determinations of the pitch-angle diffusion coefficients are available. This report experimentally evaluates the pitch-angle diffusion coefficients for 1.75 or L or 2.5. The Russian high-altitude tests of 28 October and 1 November 1962 injected large numbers of relativistic electrons into the plasmasphere. These electrons were observed by scintillation spectrometers aboard an Air Force satellite. Modified author abstract
