Methods for calculating the potential flow around axisymmetric annular profiles by means of the singularity method are presented. In contrary to linearized methods operating with singularity distributions on a cylindric substitute body, the source and vortex distributions are attached to the curved profile surface. The first as well as the second main problems of the airfoil theory for annular profile camber lines and thick annular profiles are solved. The solution of the second main problem for thick annular profiles axiparallel free-stream is compared with measurement results.
