Abstract:

The report considers means employed by Adolf Hilter to establish control over Germany period 1933-1938. It identifies methods and means used with different groups. Specific groupings considered are military, economic, and press. It investigates relationship between Mein Kampf, Nazi Party Platform pre 1933, and various communication control laws and dictates enacted post-1933. The report traces development of relationship between State and Army from November 1918 to September 1938. It discusses military relationship to purge of SA, effect of Military oath to Hitler, military reaction to Hitlers revelation of aggressive plans.
