The HELIOS Command Station is at present under construction at Lichtenau near Weilheim, under the project leadership of the DFVLR. The various subsystems have been contracted out to the firms AEG-Telefunken, CDC, MBB, Krupp, Siemens etc. The report describes the background leading to the construction of the command station, its technical performance and the allowances made for later modifications to the station.
