Abstract:

A solar radio patrol was maintained at Manila Observatory in the period 1970 to 1972 with six single frequency radiometers 8800, 4995, 2695, 1415, 606 and 245 MHz and a 24-48 MHz sweep frequency interferometer radiometer. Studies of solar and geophysical events are listed in the Appendix and two studies, on major geomagnetic storms and on atmospheric radio refractivity, are discussed. Author
