Abstract:
The formation of insoluble complexes on the surface of metals does not always ensure protection against corrosion. By methods of X-ray and chemical analysis, the identity is confirmed of phase films formed on metals in the presence of complexing agents and of complexes obtained as the result of exchange reactions in solution.
