Abstract:

Hydrogen treatment was used to vary the Fermi level in Mo doped rutile. The stable valance states Mo5 and Mo3 were detected by ESR measurements. The existence of the states Mo6 and Mo4 could be inferred. The previously unreported Mo3 resonances can be fit by a spin Hamiltonian. Modified author abstract
