Abstract:

Potential applications of high-pressure technology, with particular reference to Department of Defense needs, were reviewed. The report consists of sections on science, synthesis, singering and densification, devices, polymers, dynamic high-pressure processes, and high-pressure equipment, all of which evolved from committee discussion.
