Significant increases in strength can be obtained by selected solution and aging heat treatments. A critical temperature range for this alloy is observed to be 1550 to 1700F where a yield strength minimum and ductility and toughness maximums were found. X-ray and replica electron microscopic studies were also conducted. A detailed discussion of the results and observations is contained in this report. Author
