Abstract:

The report presents the results of a postshot, two-dimensional code calculation of the Distant Plain 1A Event, a 20-ton, high-explosive tower shot executed at the Defense Research Establishment, Suffield, Alberta, Canada, during August 1967. The calculation is compared with an earlier calculation and with actual field measurements. Results are discussed.
