Abstract:

EMS, INPUT OUTPUT DEVICES, POWER SUPPLIES, COMPUTER PROGRAMMING, CANADALARGE SCALE INTEGRATED CIRCUITSThe report describes work done and progress made during the first six months of the design and fabrication of the Advanced Development Model Feasibility Type, on the Tactical Routing Indicator Look-up and Header Preparation Device TACRAHD. The major portion of the progress made during the period covered by the report was in the familiarization and development of circuitry using the latest state-of-the-art, large scale integrated circuits. The re-evaluation of basic designs made it possible to minimize the design effort while optimizing circuit usage. Furthermore, progress has been made in the mechanical design so as to permit access, maintenance, and replacement of all major assemblies and subassemblies with a minimum of effort.
