The results of a study of several transducer structures that were designed to result in enhanced excitation of surface acoustic waves at odd-harmonic frequencies are also presented. Equivalent-circuit models for a hybrid multisection grating structure having one floating electrode per section and for an interdigital structure having an arbitrary mark-to-space ratio are described. A compact channel-dropping-filter geometry consisting of hairpin bandpass and folded-line bandstop filters is described for stripline and microwave intergrated circuits. Design tables and theoretical and experimental data for a trial channel-dropping filter are presented. Author Modified Abstract
