Abstract:
The design-construction bureau of the General Management of Roadways Ministry of Transport developed a unit for grading rock slopes. The unit is intended for conducting earth works in the conditions of mountainous locality during building and repairs of mountain roads. The unit consists of an electric bulldozer with a shovel, equipped with five breaking prongs, adjustable in height, a traction windlass, a traverse fixed at the crest of the slope with the movable carriage, and a system of rope guiding drums.
