Included in the report are sections on subharmonic locking theory, measurement techniques, and on the experimental results obtained. The final section of the report presents a summary of the results obtained and the conclusions derived from the study. In this section a broad introduction into IMPATT diodes is presented along with a review of the pertinent literature.
