Abstract:

Two effective methods have been developed. The first, heated cylinder method, utilizes the principle of thermoplastic films adhering to a heated surface. The second, specific surface reduction method, con-sists of suspending the mixtures of wastepapers and thermoplastic films in a hot gas to contract the thermoplastic films upon themselves followed by air classification andor screening. Both methods are practical and the second can be used immediately with equipment presently available on the market. Author-PL
