Abstract:
The application of PCMPenalty Cost Model to locally managed items at UADPSUniform Automated Data Processing System activities was highly successful. Consequently, NAVSUP directed FMSO to test the application of PCM to non-UADPS activities and repairable items. The report evaluates these two applications at NAS Oceana. The test results produced a lower inventory workload, higher net requisition effectiveness, and decreased inventory error rates. Author
