Abstract:
The polarographic behavior of hydrazine on a platinum electrode in solutions of 1 M sulfuric acid and 0.5 M sodium sulfate was studied in the presence of iodide ions and on an iodized electrode. It was ascertained that when iodide ions are adsorbed, retardation of the oxidation process of hydrazine is intensified in going from neutral to acid solutions. Author
