Abstract:

Using absorbance data from Pd II solutions containing varying amounts of chloride ion, the stepwise formation constants were determined for the following system PdOH242 PdOH23Cl PdOH22Cl2 PdOH2Cl3- PdCl42-. Anomalies arising from the resulting values and values obtained by other workers were discussed. Suggestions for further work in the chloro- PdII system were made. Author Modified Abstract
