Abstract:

A model of the ANUQS-1D Mine-Locating Set was evaluated in accordance with the pertinent specifications. The evaluation included electrical tests, climatic tests, radio interference measurements, and shock and vibration tests. Electrical tests performed on the transmitter, tilt-train mechanism, preamplier-scanner, and the target presentation system were satisfactory. However, requirements for extreme climatic conditions, radio interference, and shock and vibration could not be met. Author Modified Abstract
