The report is the second of a five-part series which presents the initial questions and responses of a national sample of local civil defense directorcoordinators to items related to local preparations for disasters. The report presents with the use of simple descriptive statistics frequency, mean, mode, std. dev., etc. content areas which include the preparation, results and perceived usefulness of Local Contingency Planning, Emergency Operating Centers and Emergency Operations Simulations.
