The stress gage transducers installed aboard the MV STEWART J. CORT were calibrated over the night of April 11, 1972. Results indicated that measured stress values should be increased by about 20. The first voyage of the CORT took place between May 1 and May 9, and resulted in the acquisition of some springing data with a maximum value of 5910 psi peak-to-trough. Weather conditions, however, were relatively mild, and no long-period stresses were recorded. Author
