Abstract:

Deuteron magnetic resonance spectra have been recorded for a number of deuterated ammonium compounds at 4.2K. The spectra of two of these materials, ND4SnCl6, were narrow linewidth 4 kHz in contrast to the broad linewidth 130 kHz deuteron spectra of rigid ND4 ions observed in most of the compounds. The narrow deuteron spectra are attributed to tunneling. Author
