Optical electronics will provide an optimal solution of a series of basic problems in information technology. Increasing the output band up to 1 billion to 10 billion cs and higher, the creation of ultra-long lines of space communication, optical location of the moon and planets, the production of optical computers with a very high operating speed this does not exhaust the list of problems by far. Problems have already appeared that are being solved only by optical electronic means holography, manufacture of large laser television screens, the supplying of communications between space ships in deep space, production of devices based on non-linear optics, etc. All this clearly augurs a great future for optical electronics.
