Abstract:

The electromagnetic properties of the surface and subsurface materials of the Evans, Wayside, and Deal Areas of Fort Monmouth, New Jersey, are described. The object of the investigation was to provide engineers and scientists with supplementary data to aid in assaying experimental observations or equipment performance when there is significant interaction between the propagated energy and the near-surface soil material.
