Abstract:
The long range objective of this project is the development of an efficient and accurate man-machine interactive method, involving use of biofeedback control. The project deals with the capability of training a human subject to control andor interact with complex electronic or mechanical systems. Basically the project involves the detection of bioelectrical phenomena that are analogs of ongoing cognitive processes and the use of these phenomena to control external events. The project also allows the system being controlled to communicate with the human operator in either a feedback or an interactive manner.
