Abstract:

Received signal level recordings were made at 8 and 14 GHz for one year on a 31-mile microwave relay link in southeastern Colorado. Data were processed with a switch-combiner simulator to determine the effect of dual diversity with selection combining this study indicated improved performance for frequency, space, and crossband diversity configurations. Meteorological effects on link performance were also investigated. Author
