Abstract:

The theory and method of calculating thermodynamic and transport properties of a real chemically reacting system N2O42NO22NO O2 are explained. The problem of the mechanism of thermal dissociation and radiation- thermal stability of dissociating nitrogen tetroxide is considered. The results of theoretical and experimental investigations on the corrosion resistance of materials in a medium of N2O4 are also presented. A survey of Soviet and foreign literature on the study of the thermophysical characteristics of the system mentioned is given. Analytical dependences, tabular and graphic materials on heat content, enthalpy, density, viscosity, thermal conductivity, and other properties are presented.
