This report is divided into four sections each section summarizing the overall developments during the five years plus additions to theory and experiment derived from the final year of research. Section 1 Academic Progress summarizes the important contributions made to science and to education as a direct consequence of this Project THEMIS. Section 2 covers studies on man as a learning controller, ideal prediction with a learning system, and the question of stability in learning theories is covered in this section. Section 3 is concerned primarily with the development of both the theories and the experimental techniques of pattern recognition.
