Abstract:

Special experiments were conducted to clarify questions concerning the effect of buffer gas pressure on kinetics of the generation spectrum of a photodissociation laser. The block diagram of the apparatus used is given. This apparatus includes a coaxial flashlamp in which the active substance is placed to prevent nonuniformity in the refractive index caused by pressure variation.
