Abstract:

The author indicates the fact that cascades, under the condition where the gas flow ahead of them is at a supersonic speed, cannot be studied in the same way as cascades where the gas flow ahead is at a subsonic speed. It is shown how the necessary data on the flow ahead of the cascade can be found without resorting to detailed measurements. Author
