The report describes the development of a theory of two-phase gas- liquid and liquid-gas ejectors with a cylindrical mixing chamber for the case where the vapor concentration in the mixture forming at the ejector outlet is negligibly small. The ejection equations, which give the relation backcurrent region can form near the flow core in the exit cone of a supersonic nozzle both in the case of a rotating gas flow and in the case of free swirling flow. The formation of such a region leads to a complex shock wave interaction pattern in the nozzle, which affects flow separation from the wall and the thrust characteristics of the nozzle.
