Abstract:
Detailed calculations of the coupled equations of nonequilibrium flow and the relevant molecular energy-exchange processes, have been carried out for a continuously operating CO2 gas-dynamic laser system. Power outputs of about 100 kWm length of nozzle throat at 1 percent efficiency with a small signal gain of 1m are predicted. Author
