Abstract:

Motion sickness is maladaptation to a dynamic environment. The major symptoms are caused by inadequate and inappropriate vascular and circulatory responses, resulting mainly from inadequate perception integration and analysis of the pertinent sensory data of the dynamic environment and consequent misestimating of the nature and degree of the threat involved.
