Studies are made of the gas cooling requirements of the attitude and orbit control systems of satellites using hydrazine as a low trust propellant. Various cooler arrangements to meet these requirements are considered and it is concluded that a design employing the heat capacity of alumina rods encased in a stainless steel cylinder is the most attractive scheme.
