Abstract:

A job inventory covered seven Air Force civil service jobs in accounting and finance with 683 tasks grouped under 14 duties. Job incumbents in grade levels GS-1 through GS-11 completed a background information section and provided estimations of the relative time spent on the tasks performed using a 7-point scale. Job descriptions from the seven series grouped into 10 clusters comprised of 141 job types. Three separate job types were also identified. The report provides comprehensive descriptive information on all job types and clusters. Author
