Abstract:

The report presents a summary of hybrid rocket internal ballistics. Discussion are primarily concerned with the current theory that is based on a heat transfer limited model. Areas of application, major limitations, kinetic effects, and controversial aspects are briefly discussed. Areas are identified that require additional analytical andor experimental investigation. The review was completed in June 1971, and does not include bibliographic material after that date.
