Abstract:

Development of technology has created a need for highly reliable current sources such as batteries. One of the most promising are the silver-zinc cells STsA which yield high capacity per unit weight as compared to others. However, the present-day requirements for reliability and output electrical parameters force one to use the multiple element circuits for current sources. There are well-known works which propose methods for calculating the reliability of the multiple element current sources. These formulas are cumbersome and, often, are of little use for a more extensive analysis since they do not consider the power parameters of the circuit. Thus, a procedure is given for selecting and validating a computational formula for the reliability of multiple element circuits and is convenient for practical calculations.
