Abstract:
The hearts of immersion of graphite degassed at temperatures up to 1000C have been measured in water, methanol and benzene. The removal of oxygen complexes during degassing has been followed quantitatively using a mass-spectrometer system allowing the changes in immersional energetics to be related to the desorbed species.
