Abstract:
The final summary report describes the technical efforts of a program to evaluate the feasibility of adapting the M125A1E4M572E2 fuze SA module to the sliding module SA device for the XM587E2XM724 electronic time fuze. Design modifications to the M125A1E4M572E2 fuze SA module and the results of spin, arming delay, and MIL-STD-331 rough handling tests are discussed. Based on successful results obtained in all tests, it is concluded that this design will meet all performance requirements. Author
