Abstract:
The level schemes of the odd-proton Sb isotopes with 115 or A or 125 are calculated in a unified-model approach up to second order in the collective variables. The addition of octupole vibrations is necessary to explain the structure of the 112- states and certain gamma-transitions. The l-forbidden M1 transitions give stable results for BM1 through the velocity-dependent correction to the magnetic multipole operators. Also spectroscopic factors to levels in the Sb isotopes as obtained in the 3He, d stripping reactions are calculated and compared in their A-dependence and in the distribution in each nucleus with experimental data. Electromagnetic M lambda and E lambda moments and transition rates are derived. Effective gs and gr factors are determined in a fitting procedure to known magnetic moments. Author
