Abstract:
A magnetic Compton electron spectrometer, to be used in the energy range 0.2 to 4.0 MeV, is described. The instrument is calibrated and used to measure thin-target bremsstrahlung of aluminum and gold foils, the incident electron beam having an energy of 3.5 MeV. Experimental results are compared to theory and existing results. Author
