Abstract:

Results are presented from studies of linear stabilization of a flat diffusion gas flame, as well as data on the influence of various factors on the separation characteristics of linear stabilizers. Linear stabilizers have practically unlimited range of operation with respect to air excess factor and provide a near kinetic combustion process. The principle of linear stabilization can be used to develop effective gas burners and combustion chambers for gas turbines. Author
