The DFVLR-Zentralabteilung Entwurfsforschung Luftfahrt has a consulting activity for the ministries in technical and scientific questions, concerning aircraft projects and the planning of research in aeronautics. Among the items are the Airbus, and the VSTOL Investigation. The Zentralabteilung, supported by specialists of various institutes of the DFVLR, is prepared to advise the managing directors of DFVLR in questions like planning of research, collaboration with industry and foreign research establishments and in special questions.
