Abstract:
The report is devoted to the study of the seasonal thawing os soil and its relationship with the temperature, soil moistness, and meteorological conditions. The territory under study comprises a plains sector in the interfluve of the Ob River and its tributary, the Polyye, formed of sands and sandy-loamy fluvioglacial deposits. The texture of the latter is uniform. All of the natural territorial complexes in the interfluve are supported by frozen layers with a depth of 200-300 m. The observations were conducted in five different natural complexes geochemically interconnected and differing in altitude and moisture conditions. Author
