The study analyzes all available Army TAERS data covering 5- and 10-kw engine-generators operated in Vietnam during the first 9 months of 1969. The data have been edited and analyzed with the help of a computer in order to provide information on the amount of equipment covered by the data sample, equipment availability, utilization, overhaul rate, organizational and intermediate manhours, component failurereplacement rates, and time elements in the intermediate maintenance cycle.
