Low Frequency Electron Temperature Fluctuations in Fully Ionized Plasmas.

Experimental investigations were made to substantiate the existence of periodic fluctuations of the electron temperature accompanying drift type instabilities in a Q-device. Preliminary results of measurements are reported. For all cases measured, the normalized plasma temperature fluctuations TT sub 0 were found to be smaller than the normalized density and floating potential fluctuations nn sub 0 and ephi sub fkT sub 0.
