Abstract:
Continuous processes were developed for treating SCl2 with thermal cracking kerosine components to prepare bischloroalkyl sulfide intermediates and for alkylation of PHOH by polymer distaillates in the presence of an aluminosilicate catalyst. The resulting alkylphenols were condensed with HCHO, and optionally, the condensation product was treated with P2S5 to form dithiophosphate diesters. Either product was neutralized by BaOH2 or CaO to produce the lubricating oil additives AzNII-7 an BFK, respectively. Author
